Personal note from a fellow survivor:

This is a selection of songs I listen to when I’m in need of some woman empowerment, when I’m in a bit of a ‘f*** you, men’ mood (sorry men). Most of these songs make me feel strong and independent, although a few are a little more lowkey or emotionally piercing, like ‘bruises’ or  ‘I carried this for years’. Sometimes you need to hear that rawness which you feel inside played back to you, sometimes you don’t. I’ll leave it up to you, but hopefully there are some good ones for you in there!
